About Chuck Johnson 

A life-long Yankee fan who counts among his fondest memories seeing “The Mick” play in person, Chuck is a long time member of SABR and the Minor League Alumni Association. A former college player and high school coach, Chuck has worked for the Eastern League, American Hockey League and Big East Conference and served a writing internship with the New Haven Register. 

A staff researcher for Retrosheet, Chuck has held roles with the Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Fall League. Chuck’s newest venture is this site where he hopes to provide quality writings and opinions regarding everything to do with Minor League prospects. Chuck is also a contributing staff writer for MLB.com’s new minor league blog “The Futurists,” led by Senior Writer Jonathan Mayo, and Mike Silva’s NY Baseball Digest.
